Jeff,
What do you make of it? I heard the title track and thought her voice sounded shot. I'm a fan but haven't really rated much of her output for some time.

Hi Joe,
Not sure I am qualified to speak much on Carly. I bought this at Starbucks last year out of curiosity as I hadn't really listened to her in twenty-plus years.
I don't listen to it very frequently, but I do enjoy it when I do and like the Brazilian tone to it. I'm not sure about the change of voice comment. I am listening to Neil Diamond now and they have both obviously aged but still are very effective musical communicators to me.
Probably not much help - sorry.
regards
Jeff A

Don't have any, want to guess again?
Before anyone suggests it, I don't, no I really don't want any K & J vinyl

CD7 of this behemoth of a box set. I seem to be averaging around one CD a day, playing each one all the way through at least twice. I will post some "thoughts" in due course, but for now, I'll just say that this is hugely enjoyable music!

Droo,
You could always introduce some fresh breath to the Scarlattis with the spectacular accordion playing of Teodoro Anzelluti:
