The Schumann Piano Concerto in A minor, OP 54, Clara Schumann's Liedier sung by mezzo-soprano Anne Sofie von Otter and Brahm's Sonata for Piano and Cello no. 1 with Truls Mork are anchoring the disc.

It is an appealing idea to put together music of composers who knew each other intimately and shared so much together. One wonders how much those pieces which are varying in moods and scales were influenced by the music of the other two members of the triangle.
Highly recommended.

It seems like each label was allocated only one image of Helene Grimaud with the same fancy sweater. So far I found two sweaters, one on Erato and the other one on Denon which is playing now. It contains Rachmaninoff's Sonata No. 2. OP. 36, Schumann's Kreisleriana Op. 16 (selections) and Brahms Sonata No. 3 in F minor, Op.5. The playing as well as the Denon sound are both first rate.
