Adrian,

I am learning to enjoy it. I have been listening to so much piano music lately that I made myself pick something totally different.

What do you think of the music?

Grimaud is very popular here! I think I've seen most of her records on this thread over the past weeks, with notable absence of her rather excellent recording of Bartok #3, with Boulez (I may have missed the post). She also did a good Beethoven #4, for Teldec.

Happy listening,
EJ

Now deleted EP which should be a must listen for all lovers of singer songwriters especially Nick Drake. Start with track 2. Scotsman based in LA.

I always feel that this is what Nick could have sounded like if he was still with us.

Championed by Nick Harcourt of KRCW and I had the pleasure of writing one of the first reviews of this for a certain web site.

cheers to all the Grimaud listeners on this thread for piquing my interest, and in particular, to Haim for recommending this disc.

Absolutely loving this, not the usual stuff I listen to.

Just discovered this wonderful artist. Bought this album today & have Coles Corner & Lady's Bridge on order.

Any other fans out there? Any other essential purchases by Mr Hawley to look out for?

Cheers
