And no before anyone queries if I am being paid a royalty from Otis re shamelessly plugging his albums here. I wish.
This was truly my listening experience last night as it was for a good cause.
In fact I played all of his albums from Blue Eyed Monster right the way through to the latest. Think that makes 12 albums in total.
Didn't get to bed till late.

A record I keep coming back to for many many years (not only when I have a hangover like this morning) is this Robert Fripp album that is played with the help of a group of rather unexperienced guitar players that all know when it's the time for them to play THEIR note. Saw this live, once, and it was so stunning. One of my lonely island records.
cheers

I have the MFSL of that KK nice album.
You can still find the MoFi on the cheap second hand and it's one of my reference reordings.

I'm completely addicted to Anour at the moment and my wife hates his music ( not enough of a melody, has to search for the music, etc).
So it's lonely listening to Anouar ...

Christ would have thought you of all people would know how to fix it. What was wrong with it anyway the clockwork key and elastic band system they use to wind up the motor doesn't work?![]()
Fuel filter requires the orange clip, 45 mins of work and £5 for the clip! The garage mechanic carried out his usual sharp intake of breath and said oooohh sounds like the fuel pump! Another bunch that should be locked up!

Picked this up today from a Disk Union buying spree. Heartily recommend the sparse instrumental and cool vocals. Versions of Love will Tear Us Apart and It's a Long Way to the Top are beautifully rendered.
