Looking at your preferences in music I cannot but asume you also have the 'Layers of Light' by the same artists.
Which one do you prefer?

I love the way the chest hair has been cut and arranged to form a neat neckline.

Well I am glad you guys all liked the Peter Erskine "worst cover of the 80's" album. Here is another cover for you - great music, dreadful cover.

On LP:
IMHO his best recording.

I guess I would pick Layers of Light but to be honest no real preference between the two. I am a big E.S.T fan so as much as it is good to hear Esbjorn on these recordings I prefer some of the real thing. Nils Landgren is an interesting musician - Stefan (sjust) and I went to see him a few years ago doing Funky Abba - that was a good night out.
Did you ever see E.S.T in concert? I was lucky to see them (very close up) three times in London and Sydney. Three of my best concert experiences.
Cheers, Adrian

Ludwig van Beethoven: Murray Perahia (Hamburg Steinway Piano)
Sonata for Piano no 12 in A flat major, Op. 26 "Funeral March"
Sonata for Piano no 9 in E major, Op. 14 no 1
Sonata for Piano no 10 in G major, Op. 14 no 2
Sonata for Piano no 15 in D major, Op. 28 "Pastoral"
Why? Simply superb playing all around. Never have heard anything less from Murray Perahia.

suggestion:
I have found it very easy to locate an album image on amazon.com or at an artists website or anywhere probably, I use a mac so I "control/click" simulataneously with the cursor on the image and choose "copy image address" (I believe if you right click with windows you will get a similar menu and can make that same choice or "copy") then come to music room, reply to this thread, and use the second from right menu option in the row of buttons at the top of the reply screen to "paste" (on mac, apple button to left space bar/V simultaneously) the "image URL" and locate as you wish on your message.
if pc substitute right click with above.
regards
Jeff A
p.s. welcome to the Music Room

No unfortunately not. But I'm also more of a record man than a concert goer. My last live jazz experience was when I was still single and saw Arturo Sandoval at Ronnie Scott's in the 80's.

Tracy Grammer "Flower of Avalon"
this is very special music to me, Tracy's incredible voice and fiddle, acoustic guitar or mandolin on songs by her deceased life/musical partner Dave Carter. "Folk" music doesn't get much better than this for me. Out of my collection for a while, but now pleased to have it again. sample

Only Pogorelich (and perhaps Pollini) would dare filling a disc with just two Haydn sonatas. In his defense, he does pad them out to a full 52 minutes. Haydn with a sugar coating - not for everybody but not to be missed for some outstanding pianism

Adrian, I hope you don't let these ugly brutish covers anywhere near your pristine ECM CD collection.
