Not my favourite Miles album, but still a fantastic album to listen to anytime of the day.

It doesn't make my top 10 either.

The funny thing is that I appreciate this album even more now, as compared to when I first purchased it more than a decade ago.

Robert Plant and the Strange Sensation 'Dreamland', 'Storytellers' (VH1 US broadcast).
I know a lot of people on the forum are big Alison Krause fans, but for me this was Plant's best post Led Zeppelin band, such a pity they seem to no longer be going.

A rather good dose of Americana/country rock I would say.

PS: Rather than just posting an album cover the thread title asks WHY you recommended it.

A more electronic take on Post Rock, subtle stuff.

One of the truly classic albums of all time, you need to enjoy this if you haven't already.

I have this on CD, SACD and Vinyl

Brings back memories of my teens! Used to have it on cassette but never replaced it after it got chewed up by the Walkman. I also enjoyed this way back then:

Especially 'Shake the Disease'.

My two favourite Depeche Mode albums.

A fine tribute to the songs of Esbjorn Svensson.

A week old and fabulous. Those of you that like their first one (I play it quite often. It shakes everthing, here - including my soul) will like this (even more). Addition of female singing is a win.

cheers

I am giving it a quick listen on spotify. Sounds like one for cold dark winter nights. Now on order.
