How does that compare to some late night sax? Winker

Irwan, sorry for the late reply. I missed reading your post.

I much prefer Lloyds earlier music which I find to be more straight-forward and better flowing. Canto is my favorite album and Sagam is the least one. After that I sopped buying his music. I saw him live performing Lift Every Voice and wasn't too impressed.

Regards,
Haim

Strange, two of my favourite Lloyd albums and the only ones that I have purchased are from from what you describe as two extreme ends.

Thanks to your post, now there is another Lloyd album to check out. Big Grin Lloyd's work are perfect for chilling out. So relaxing and so easy on the ears. Love that tone on the sax.

Still having a Marvin Gaye hang-over from the morning. Will be playing this for the evening drive into KL:

This album is in my list of top ten albums of all time. There a period sometime in the 1990s when this was my most played album. I am listening to this the same way that I currently listen to Fred Simon's 'Dream House'. If Fred's album were on cassette, it would be chewed up by now after much abuse!

I also have 'What's Going On' on 180 grm vinyl. Sadly although the content of the album on CD and vinyl is fantastic, the quality of recording of both formats is nowhere near as good as 'Let's Get it On' or 'I want You'.

What is the best edition of 'What's Going On available on the market today?

His 2nd album, containing some of his very best songs, well for me anyway.

I should play this more often, it's a great album. I need to check out their back catalogue.
