This sounds so much better now I have my LP12 on a wall shelf. Could not get into it before.
What else could I try on ECM vinyl?

I hope you enjoy, Gordon. The lady has some credentials being the daughter of Pinchas Zukerman (concert violinist) and her mother is a vocalist and her sister is an opera singer.
Her vocal sound is different but I have grown to love it, and her slide guitar work is amazing to me.
Good listenin' to you.

There are two possible explanations for why I got this disc and playing it now.
One: my wife was putting a books order on Amazon and needed another $8 to qualify for free shipping so she asked me if there was anything I wanted from them and off the top of my head came "Jasmine".
Two: I was under tremendous pressure from all the posters here raving about Jasmine and I was afraid of the possibility of being kicked out of the music room if I did not get my own copy.
Have your pick.

All you guys that love Ry Cooder ought to listen to this guy.
All 3 of his albums are excellent. One of Swedens best kept secrets. He is on the same label that brought you the first recordings of Eric Bibb.

There is a great YouTube clip on Natalia with Ray Bonneville on harp. I was not familiar with Ray but there are several amazing YouTube clips on him as well. Downloading one of his albums now, I will listen and post next after Tori.
best regards
Jeff A
ps. the Gilkyson is just so very well made, great songs, great lyrics, great accompaniment - it is so very very good. I am indebted to you for that one, Ewen. Natalia and Ray and Ray Bonneville

I just recently sold most of my Ray Bonnevilles albums incl his rare as hen's teeth first album. Every 6 months I have a big clearout of stuff I don't play much of anymore. Though did keep Rough Luck which I think was his best.
Sanctuary would probably rate amongst my top 20 songs of all time.
