She might not be quite the ticket live (MilesSmiles) Smile but I really like the album Joyful It's got a really laid back soul/reggae vibe.

One: my wife was putting a books order on Amazon and needed another $8 to qualify for free shipping so she asked me if there was anything I wanted from them and off the top of my head came "Jasmine".

Two: I was under tremendous pressure from all the posters here raving about Jasmine and I was afraid of the possibility of being kicked out of the music room if I did not get my own copy.

Have your pick.

Has to be number one. Also known as currying favour with the wife to ensure positive wife approval for further Naim purchases! Winker

Agreed. Just makes want to get up and boogie. Quincy Jones has a magical touch when it comes to production work. I also like 'Thriller' and 'Bad', but do not care for his other albums which do not have that Quincy Jones touch.

Arguably even better than 'Jagged Little Pill (Acoustic)'?

Irwan,

You guessed correctly though you are underestimating my fears of being unpopular in the music room. So far the wife approval for further Naim purchases was not put to test. My humble system remained unchanged since it was purchased 10 years ago.

Here is a Charlie Haden and Chris Anderson which I find superior to Jasmine in any way I can think of.

Just played that Chris Anderson and Charlie Haden album last night. And also this, which I used as my test CD when I bought my Supernait:

Charlie Haden is the benchmark whenever I test a system. If it does not replay that double-bass properly, then the system is just not for me. One of the reasons why I chose the Supernait over the 202/200 combo.

It is incredible that your system has not changed in the last ten years. Do not let Naim know that you are immune to 'upgradetitis'. Mr Richard 'Administrator' Dane might send a team to do experiments on you. No mortal resists Naim. Everyone will be gradually assimilated! Winker
