Let me get warmed up with a classic on ECM:

I saw him a few months ago with the Orchestrion, but this is the GROUP Cool. A small version of the GROUP though, just a quartet, not the normal 6/7 people version. Last Group tour I was near to was I think 2003. Let's hope it lives up to my expectations!

I've always been a bit "scared" of Zorn, but I'm enjoying this.

This album will always remind me of my leisurely sunday afternoon drives to the beach...windows open, volume loud. Great music for fun driving.

Just been googling - I had no idea he'd done so many.

He releases so many albums in so many sub genres. He is prolific. He gets it so right on many occasions and dreadfully wrong on others. I guess he averages two filmworks a year.

Cool This is Stockton beach, NSW two hours north of Sydney near to Bazz's house - 20 miles of sand to drive along. And the dunes you had to get up and through to get on and off of it were well, big. I had to be towed out of the sand a couple of times having buried my wheels. Great, great fun...

In hindsight I spent way to little time on the beach, both in Oz and in FL. Now that the kids are getting older I can start redeeming myself. Cool
