Nikolai Demidenko plays Chopin's preludes and 3rd sonata. He takes liberties with the text, but no-one else emphasizes the dark and desparate undertones like him. Not to mention a highly supercharged finale to the sonata as the brilliant climax to this disc.

The recording quality has been criticized by several reviewers, but they were probably Naimless because it sounds spectacular in my living room.

Orbital 'Peel Session Live QEH 1999' (FM broadcast), Jean Michel Jarre 'Equinoxe'
A bit of electronica after all the acoustic 'Koz' to keep me going during a marathon soldering session (not electronics, but a vice far worse).
