SJB
SJB One of my best friends from the age of 16 on that album. Frown

and what prompted me to play it was my 14 year old putting it on the ipod playlist in the car on the holidays.

I'm sure you've many great memories from this period.

Following on from the "Live at the BBC" yesterday, I've been listening to this today..

Esentially most of the songs were the original versions of the songs that turned up later that year on "The Impossible Dream" LP. Having grown up listening to T.I.D. I am finding it hard to enjoy the different versions on "Hot City" as much, but hey it's still SAHB so that's got to be good.

On CD, not played this for ages so it's sounding really fresh and exciting. Early Bruce meets Steve Earle..

The KLF - The White Room
I've had this on CD for years, but never heard it on vinyl. Scored a nicely preserved copy on the Bay of E this week. Jolly nice it be.

The Alan Parsons Project - The Turn of a Friendly Card

Newly arrived on 200g vinyl. Rather expensive but worth every penny. Compared to my original 80s pressing, there's a fantastic increase in definition and detail. I'd order more of this sort of thing if our postman wasn't such a tool and there was a reasonable chance of it getting here in one piece.
