Simon & Garfunkel - The sounds of silence (live).

Still imo one of the greatest songs ever written.

I'm resisting listening on Spotify until my vinyl arrives...how is it?

PS-I am a huge Iron Maiden fan.

Adrian,

Since purchased, this music did not leave our coffee table because it is being played so often.

Have a good weekend,

Haim

I was really getting into this CD the other night, wondering why there aren't more guitar/trumpet duet CDs, when it can work as well as this.

Regards
Nigel

Voltaire,

On the first spin I thought "It's an Iron Maiden album", then I listened again... It's a grower and, I think, may just turn out to be a double-barrelled, chrome-plated classic.

Far outstrips Dance Of Death by some way.

Bach's well-tempered clavier... in easy listening edition as well as '80s hardcore harpsichord. Still looking for a harpsichord recording that captures a bit of the fun in this music.

Not sure if you are 'missing out' as such. I like MM. I think he is a product of contemporary culture and "if he didn't exsist it would be neccassary to invent him".

A lot of his music is attention grabbing crap but every now and then he forgets himself and records something quite good. The secret is to seperate the wheat from the chaff.

What do you think Jeff?

The samples sound very nice. I've just ordered my copy from the USA.
