On vinyl, this double LP compilation got some hammer in my youth. Just cleaned it up and it's sounding pretty good still. "Rollin' and Tumblin'" what a track...

Radu Lupu doesn't record much but what he does is generally excellent. This compilation includes all his solo recordings for Decca, but also the brilliant first recording of Beethoven's 3rd concerto. IMO this is better than his remake in the set with Mehta.

A solo album from the lead singer of the band Deerhunter and rather good it is too like a surreal Bon Iver.

"Scratch My Back" by Peter Gabriel

Outstanding, still my favorite concert of the year.

Wow! I've never had the chance to see Peter Gabriel, but I've heard it's an amazing show. I was skeptical about a "covers" album, but his versions of "Book of Love", "Heros", "Boy in the Bubble" and "Mirrorball" are wonderful.

Playing over here now as well. Cool

Should have the 250 back from repair tomorrow, may well give this a spin first!! Big Grin

Brian Eno has a new album coming out in November. The "Limited Edition" includes CDs, LPs and a 24bit WAV download, as well as other cool material. Hmmmm....

David Jalbert plays Faure's Nocturnes.

Picked up this next one based on a post by Voltaire a few says ago. It's waiting for me at home on vinyl via airmail from the ECM store.

Love the track, "Bharati".
