Is this studio or live tracks?

Studio Pat. A&M didn't think the album would sell so kept it in the vaults and then released her from her contract. Some of the tracks were re recorded for later albums.

By the way she is actually playing London next week.

Thanks for the info! I will have to see if I can find a used copy.

I missed her last show in my area. Hopefully she will tour the US again next year.

They are rare as hens teeth Pat.

Well that's a bummer. Saves me some time though. Smile

Now this. Just cleaned and it sounds fantastic !

I met Phil Lynott a few weeks before he died (I think he was filming for a kids TV programme called 'Razzamatz' in Newcastle), and despite a glazed, faraway demeanour, he was still a very nice guy.

Can this album be bettered, I DON'T THINK SO, unless its another album by the Velvets.

A very nice little album (30 minutes long) with an unmistakable and unsurprising S&G vibe, but not in a derivative way. First impressions are it's going to be a favourite. There's at least one song every bit as beautiful as anything his father wrote.

Is this the proper Lou Reed version or the original version that Doug Yule did his stuff on - if you have the version called fully loaded you can hear what Lou intended vs. what Doug had released. On the original elpee it says Maureen played drums, which she definitely didn't, but it made Loaded seem more velvety. I always detested I Found a Reason on the original version, but on the alternative Lou version it is a classic.

Steven & Stevens - Now that would be an interesting collaboration Cool

After one play I'm hooked on Sufjan already. I think I'll start collecting with Seven Swans & Illinois.
