Someone said in another thread they never got Roxy Music, I'm just flabbergasted, so to stop flabbering I thought I'd play this. Smile

Its the Doug Yule version recorded in 1970 and what a bloody fantastic year that was. Seems the Fully Loaded version is just outtakes and alternative versions of songs that never made it onto the release.

Is this the proper Lou Reed version or the original version that Doug Yule did his stuff on - if you have the version called fully loaded you can hear what Lou intended vs. what Doug had released. On the original elpee it says Maureen played drums, which she definitely didn't, but it made Loaded seem more velvety. I always detested I Found a Reason on the original version, but on the alternative Lou version it is a classic.

From the maestro of jazz arrangements comes this chef d'oeuvre. The first of a stack of 20 nice jazz cds that just dropped through the door for the weekend.

Newly arrived on vinyl today. So far, exceptional in the tradition, I'd say, of Tindersticks.
