I think the demo disc done acoustically is better than the album proper....

I have to say I quite like it. Was driving home earlier and the wife suggested it was not music to drive to as it might send me to sleep....

I like it as well....it's defiantly a more mellow album than I expected from a drummer. I'm also impressed with his singing.

When Radiohead played Red Rocks (Colorado) in 2001 after "Amnesiac" was released, Phil Selway was chatting with some family that were in the audience sitting next to us. He was a complete gentleman and signed our tickets, as well as chatted about the weather (which wound up being nasty in the Denver area). I don't have too many "meeting musicians" stories, so I thought I would share.

A bit far to go from the uk for a concert though.
Whats it like for sound quality?

I highly recommend seeing a good performance there. It's an amazing place, both environmentally and sonically. It sounds like it looks....intimate, open, solid and tight. Going to rock concerts is not my favorite thing to do, even bands I like, but Red Rocks is different. It's a magical place.

The evening that Radiohead played there in 2001 was a wonderful show. A huge rain and hail storm hit the area and closed the Denver airport for days, but the storm missed Red Rocks. Because of the wind, they removed the backdrop and allowed just the big, rust colored rocks to be the background. The whole time we could see the Denver area getting pounded by the storm, but Red Rocks was in a vacuum that night, and Radiohead provided plenty of oxygen. Winker

Ballan - nice story. I have a few rock star stories having met and chatted with a few of my heroes including Springsteen (long story), Collins and Gilmour.

Going to play a little Radiohead for a change.
