Jacobs' new recording of Mozart's Die Zauberflöte. First listen, and will reserve judgment until I've heard the whole thing - but so far can already say that Jacobs has made some rather radical choices and all of them superbly judged - it's like hearing the opera for the first time and, more importantly, done right for the first time!
