What does this 3 CD edition have over the Original Soundtrack?

The "3 Disc Set" includes more music from the film, some of it is extended versions of the single disc, and some of it is the music without the dialog of the first disc.

That first disc is still my favorite, even though I wish some of the dialog wasn't there. Like most thing related to "Blade Runner", there are many versions and opinions.

Been playing this in the car as well. A really lovely album that just keeps on growing on you. The first two tracks are my favourite.

Very nice late at night or even at any time of the day.

Arguably one of the best duo albums of all time. I like this even more than 'Jasmine'.

Forcione and a majestic display of his 'sensitive' (as opposed to virtuoso) side.

A beautifully recorded album (just like many other Naim label albums), thanks to the geniuses at Naim:

One of my test CDs. The one that led me to choose the Supernait over the 202/200 combination. Charlie Haden's double bass is the benchmark!

A real steal at this price. So much good music for for a relatively modest sum. Thank you Naim!

An almost perfect combination of orchestral music, double bass and tenor sax.

There was a time when I had this on late into the night for many weeks in a row as I sat at my laptop and wrote my research papers.

If you like your music in the lower registers, this is the album for you. Ron Carter's phat doubles bass and Eric Dolphy's bass clarinet dominate the soundscape.

Ron Carter's idea of what music of the 70s should have sounded like!
