"Where Did The Night Fall" by UNKLE

This is a wild album. I don't know much about UNKLE, and I only have one other album from them/him.

As a 96/24 WAV from the Naim label store. Very nice, too.

The highlight of Roberto Alagna's first recital disc for EMI was Werther's aria, and in his complete recording he managed to eclipse that. Years after the hype, this Werther remains a great achievement.

I'm a Dylan fan, and have this album as part of the SACD box set, but I've never listened to it. I'm going to have a "first listen"....

Hi Ballan,

It's far from Dylan's best album, but quite intersting. BTW my copy is SACD (not HDCD)...

I did buy it. I especially liked his contribution on 'Small Labyrinths'.

I don't own any other of his albums and I would say that this one doesn't really hang together as an 'album' in the true sense but their are moments of utter brilliance which make the whole worth enjoying.

My wife dislikes Mr. Thompson, don't know why..
This is a very good album.
