This arguably as good as, or perhaps even better than 'Night in the City'.

Adrian, what Paolo Fresu album should I get next?

Later it will be a Michael Hedges nights. All these albums have been lined up for play.

Glad you are liking them!

Try Wanderlust

Some good stuff on this one as well but with guitar in the band

Aldo Romano Non Dimenticar and Canzone - traditional Italian Songs with Paolo playing all the melody

Some nice duets with Ralph Towner

This is good with Enrico Rava

I really like this new one - quite like Melos called Sette Ottavi

Paolo has such a big back catalogue that there are sure to be some other gems worth checking out in there.

My favorite Yes on CD, although the other MoFi is pretty good too.

Thanks Adrian! Metamorfosi looks interesting, especially with Nguyen Le playing on it!

Don't think I ever had the chance to listen to the Mofi vinyl, any views on this one?

I'm a fan of R.E.M., but I still can't listen to this album. I put it on a few times a year (which I just did) to see if it engages me....and I get nothing. Maybe I should start with some a few songs from it? Got any suggestions?

It's ok, it was on really low.

I'm good like that. Probably just as well sometimes...

Damn fine result, well deserved.

On the iPod

From the black stuff ripped into iTunes.

Yup, well done The xx.

My copy of Station to Station is an SA90 copied from my brother's vinyl when I was about thirteen, and then ripped into iTunes. Perfect excuse to get the re-release that's out in a couple of weeks then.

I haven't heard of Spooky Tooth but this sounds very soulful. My copy is on order.

Thanks again Denis.
