I like Southern Accents but it is not his typical rocky release. You cannot go too far wrong with Full Moon Fever - an album I wore out at the time. Damn the Torpedoes, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers (self titled) are well worth getting.

My fave though is his solo album Highway Companion. Wonderful on the Hoffman mastered vinyl but good on CD as well. A happy, poppy, rocky album.

I was less keen on Mojo but it has grown on me. More bluesy so that might appeal to you. Vinyl again is good.

I like this album more each time I play it, who'd have thought I'd dig this type of music, must be getting old. Smile
