Not impressed with the first disc (standard album), but the second disc, which is only on this format sounds much more like Underworld.

The standard album release just does not sound like Underworld, there is none of the darkness you expect. The rhythms and sounds are just Europop. They have collaborated with other dance artists which may have watered down their sound, but it is disappointing.

The second disc offers some better versions, Underworld's own Lemonworld mixes mostly. 'Bird 1' is the old 'Strumpet' version, and 'You Do Scribble' are like the excellent live version from the last few years. A couple of the other tracks work much better in the feel on this disc too.

Not watched the DVD yet. All in all it is not as strong as their past material.

This one is on my wish list. I've always enjoyed Underworld.

Just using Spotify to check out various Richard Hawley songs. I was most taken with his voice on Elbow's "The Fix" on the Seldom Seen Kid album, so following it up.

Any thoughts, suggestions anyone?

I think Richard Hawley is wonderful & have all of his albums. Songs I'd recommend listening to are:
Remorse Code
Open Up The Door
Valentine
Serious
Dark Road
I'm Looking For Someone To Find Me
Tonight The Streets are Ours
Lady's Bridge
Just Like The Rain
Born Under A Bad Sign
Tonight
Something Is
The Nights Are Cold

Enjoy.
Cheers

Thanks for that, I've just made up a Spotify playlist with those tracks so I'm going to listen to them after the 2nd half of the Man U v Rangers game (hope the songs are more entertaining than the match!)

Domingo made three studio recordings of Otello, as well as umpteen official and unofficial live recordings. Some of the live ones are really good but all the studio recordings have merit and benefit from better sound.

On balance this one, the last, is my version of choice. Domingo's mature voice and interpretation fit the role well, and Chung, Studer and the supporting cast provide a great framework. Leiferkus with his thin, slavic voice is an acquired taste.
