Bruckner's eighth is a unique work, it cannot be described until you've heard it - one of the greatest classical music works ever written. In 1988 Karajan and the Wiener gave it everything they had - and if you think Karajan had by then lost the x-factor (or never had it to begin with), this may convince you otherwise!
