Bruckner's 8th by Chailly and the Concertgebouw Orchestra. Chailly cuts a clear path through the music, with emphasis on structure and slightly holding back in the music's sequence of climaxes. In some respects, the polar opposite of Karajan / Vienna. The playing by the orchestra is awesome. So is Decca's sound, but they did it even better for Chailly's Mahler's 3rd and 5th.

This is one of my favorite albums of 2010. It gets better every time I play it.
