I,m not going to pay almost £30 for a 37 minute album, on vinyl. I'll probably get the CD though.
I guess the length of the album has never been a consideration for me. It's rather is it good or not and do I want it on vinyl as well - in this case a resounding yes. IMHO, 37 mins is a good length for this album. Why pad it out?

I'm not saying it's not a good album, just making the point of VFM from a length / cost basis.
Is it on 180 gm ? I can't see that it is, this makes it a £12-15 album being sold for £27 not good VFM IMO.
I liked the first play through, even on Spotify basic.
Not sure it's one of his finest, certainly not a bad album though.
Maybe it's just lack of familiarity ?

It is 180g. I have never considered length/cost ratio when making vinyl purchase decisions. To be honest most of my more expensive 45 RPM vinyl from Analogue Productions comes in at less than 40 mins so normally the shorter albums are more expensive in my collection.

NAIM offering of the AM album (I know not Neil Young) comes in at £17.99 on 180 gm, RT latest £20. As for instances.
Still if people are prepared to pay these prices then they continue to be charged them.
Maybe I'm just a tight wad?

I've never heard anything else by this young lady so I've no idea what her subsequent albums were like, or whether she was a one hit wonder?

On vinyl, not one of his best by a long chalk, but still has its moments...

IMO definitely not her best. A real shame as I had such high hopes.
