Tool "Lateralus", Loud with the flat to myself, and even the cat made an exit when she heard it (she is definitely not a Tool fan, but then she bites me when I play King Crimson)

On vinyl:-

Has anyone got Band of Joy on vinyl yet?
Or is it just HMV being slow?
Or is there a delay from suppliers?

Delayed - until Oct 25. I cancelled my order as CD will suffice on this one - not a fave album for me. I'll put the money instead towards the vinyl of the excellent Le Noise.

That Leo album is superb though.

Thanks, maybe a sound plan, I don't have any NY on vinyl. Maybe time to start?

Leo album is superb, he was called "octopus fingers" in one review I read. Smile

This should be in a few top 10 lists at year end - a really excellent album from Charles Lloyd.

I like buying the NY vinyl and have been collecting most of his vinyl release in recent years. Be prepared to pay though. The one I do not understand is Sugar Mountain Live - that goes for £60-70 (although amazon are pricing it at £130)

Led Zeppelin - Knebworth Festival 4th August 1979 (complete soundboard recording), will probably listen to the 11th later.

The Song Remains The Same, Celebration Day, Black Dog, Nobody's Fault But Mine, Over The Hills And Far Away, Misty Mountain Hop, Since I've Been Loving You, No Quarter, Ten Years Gone, Hot Dog, The Rain Song , White Summer / Black Mountain Side, Kashmir, Trampled Underfoot, Sick Again, Achilles Last Stand, Guitar Solo, In The Evening, Stairway To Heaven, Rock And Roll, Whole Lotta Love, and Heartbreaker(4th)/Communication Breakdown (11th)

After all the discussion of the shows on the John Bonham 30 years gone thread.

Picked this up for a song, so to speak, recently... re-establishing an old friendship.

Bob Dylan

that voice, the under-appreciated guitar skills and a harmonica, nothing else needed.
