Jeff,
I love that album.
Still dont know who sent it to me on my birthday a few years back now. Roll Eyes
Glad they did though.
Stu

Stu
I bought it on your recommendation. It is somewhat unique in my collection, I really don't have anything else quite like it and therefore always enjoy it when I play it. Have a great weekend.

On vinyl, and really trying to like it, but . . . . it's probably the worst album I've bought in the last 10 years! Terrible production, terrible voice (I have some of his earlier albums which I do quite like). It's just terrible !

If you asked me a few years ago whether I would be playing this on a Saturday morning. You would have probably got a rude response. Glad I've acquired some taste.

Jeff,

I'm starting to play Dylan more and more I have six albums so far (more coming I'm sure) and I feel he really justifies the standing he has with some music lovers, superb music maker and not just an old whinging Folkie.

And talking of Dylan this is nothing like him at all Smile but its great Minimal Techno.

Hi Dean

I am pretty new to Dylan as well and am amazed with each new purchase at what he has created. Numerous times I have been listening to a track and have consciously thought to myself "that is exactly as that should be done." I am not sure what I am grasping at but it just feels "right" and I enjoy him immensely.

Yes I agree, as I mentioned I thought of him as a bit of a Folkie tub thumper but the surprise is the variety of styles he turns his hand to Blonde On Blonde being a good example and the quality of the arrangements, he knows what he is doing musically.

I believe I saw Stu recommend Blonde on Blonde and with your comment also, I will move it up the list of purchases.

A collection of great French quartets from the Arcanto Quartett, whose most famous members are Tabea Zimmermann on viola and Jean-Guihen Queyras on cello. The Arcanto's lean and fast sound is very suited to this music.
