A great one that I got just recently, I'm a big Waits fan.

I've only been listening to Waits for the last few years. I watched some interviews of him on YouTube that a friend told me about, and that intrigued me enough to dive in to his music more. He's a cool guy, with an extreme amount if talent.

Here is one of the interviews. He mentioned Lord Buckley. I didn't know who Lord Buckley was until I saw this interview and did some searching. Tom Waits Interview

Glad you enjoyed it. Waits is an intriguing person. I tried posting the second part of that interview, in which he performs a great version of "On The Nickel".

Tom Waits - Closing Time
Perhaps I'm a bit sentimental, but this has always been my favourite Tom Waits album.

Here it is! I thought it didn't post. Be patient with me, I'm still learning how to use the features for posting.

My wife grinned and waited for me to tell him how 24 years ago today we started going out together

So I told him this is an important day today as 28 years ago tonight I was sitting on a wet and windy hillside in Milton Keynes waiting for Peter Gabriel and Genesis to come on stage for a one off reunion - Six of the Best (with Steve Hackett encoring) - a real night of nostalgia.

Did you have a long wait in the ER? Smile

After seeing Tom Waits ob a Sky Arts programme about 60/70 singers songwriters, I think the only thing worse than hearing TW sing is watching him sing.
Sorry just don't have the patience to sift through the groaning.
He's unique I'll give you that.
