some new and old...

Crippled Black Phoenix - I Vigilante (White Vinyl) & Picture House - Shine Box

The CBP tracks 'Troublemaker', 'We Forgotten Who We Are' & 'Of A Lifetime' are on MySpace. Pretty good on first listen; I think this is a grower. The layout of the songs & lyrics on the separate sleeve was very confusing. The track titles are not on the LP and it was difficult to follow the lyrics. I am getting old though!

The Picture House CD was a nice pallette cleanser, with great singing and simple song structures.

It's not as good as her second album. I actually asked her once to re-release it but she told me she wasn't going to.

Christy Moore's Paddy on the Road

Should have realised track 4 on this elpee would be blocked ... still Christy has made his first elpee available by ripping his own vinyl copy of his debut record - what a guy.
