On CD

Dean...

You are absolutely spot on Dean. This was the first album I bought & got me hooked. I'd also recommend the following if you like the one above......

The last one has a great remix of Adele's Hometown.

It's final appearance on my system as it is about to become another victim of my 6 monthly clearouts.

My first Boo - Wonderful arrangements and a pure voice to de-stress your day.

My second Shawn - An absolute stellar cast of session musicians have made this one of the best first listens of any CD I own. I think this will give 'a few small repairs' a run for it's money.

Same here Denis - excellent Album. I'll investigate the Shawn Colvin disc.

Jeff Beck: Jeff Beck's Guitar Shop
'89 Release. Epic. US Pressing.

A nice surprise gift from my kind dealer. After he put together my Sondek, he asked to see if I had any Jeff Beck. The only pressings I had on hand was Blow by Blow & Wired ( which I used to listen to a lot ). He insisted I should listen to the 'Guitar Shop'. Normally I am not a fan of electric guitar music but I must say this album sounds wonderful via Briks.

My mate quipped: 'How did you get a better taste in musuic? ' Apparently, we went to see his Guitar Shop Tour when this album came out, but I can't remember a thing except Stevie Ray Vaughan's warm up act was cumbersome. :x
