Going to try this one then. He is playing a few dates at the end of this month. I am seeing him at the Barbican. http://www.serious.org.uk/

Do you know if "In Praise of Dreams" is any good? I nearly bought it today, attracted by the unusual instrumentation (Kim Kashkashian on viola). Instead I got this:

Which is pleasant enough, if a tad bland.

Probably a fair summation of the Bjornstad. I have not played In Praise of Dreams for several years now but remember liking it at the time. I will dig it out to play this weekend. Strangely currently unavailble on spotify to try.

Picked out at random, not played it for decades! I'd forgotten all but 'Our Lips Are Sealed' so it's like having a new album. Very good it is too.

Oh and excellent production by David Byrne.

Both Mrs Plane & I were/are huge fans of the 2 Savage Garden albums. If this one is up to that standard then an investment may have to be made.

His solo work is the best. You also may like this one, My CDX2 even taps its foot when this one spins.
