The Pink Floyd live at the BBC 1967 - not bad quality.

Next up and a contrast to Syd

OK everybody hates this lot, but I'd sooner listen to them than Roxy Muzak any day

Little bit of controversy creeping in there Winker

When Howard Kaylan said to Frank Zappa that he once met Jimmy Greenspoon, Frank replied in Ron Hubbard type voice, Three Dog Night they're my favourite group - and he must have meant it because he recorded it live in front of an audience at the Filmore East.

Badfinger - Wish You Were Here

Been reading some interesing stuff on this great album over @ Hoffman. I will try another copy from Collector's Choice, as recommended by Bruce Hazen (for those who remember him).

It's a great album with the early, heavier Rush sound. Everything they did up to Moving Pictures/Signals era is worth hearing in my opinions. I used to love them and can still get pleasure from hearing their stuff.

Regards
Nigel

First album with the "new" line up, Neil Peart replaced John Rutsy, on drums.
As Nigel says metalish, but not so much as the eponymous first album. This line up was slightly more prog orientated and so a track By-Tor and the Snow Dog hinted at the riches to come.

Still my favourite group, only Vapour Trails leaves me cold , maybe because it was one on the hottest cut CDs ever.

A little Radio Paradise, including a beautiful and sad track S'brent by Oi Va Voi.
Included recently , Elvis Costello, Cowboy Junkies, Al Stewart and Ben E King, those are the ones I'd heard of. Smile
