Yes were able to combine Prog and Pop to produce this masterpiece unlike Genesis' attempts.

Jazz box sets posting number N+1.

Just think (almost) everything recorded before 1960 is now out of copyright. Which means a plethora of box sets popping up in the jazz world. This one, by Prestige itself, at least has nice paper sleeves and decent packaging. All 14 Prestige albums at about Euro 2.5 per disc, including the workin' steamin' etc series. No nice booklet though.

Or you can buy this set - with everything mixed up in no real order for Euro 7.50 for the ten disc set.

I bought this earlier today for no reason other than every man and his dog on here was listening to it Smile

On first listen I thought it was very nice but perhaps not really my cup of tea (although my Polish cleaner seemed more in tune with it than I was!). However, after 3-4 listens I think I finally get it.

Tis a wonderful place this forum for discovering new music
