As a long time Kottke fan,i hated the first outing but the new release "Sixty Six Steps" is stunning one of his best yet, just listen to his reworking of the old favourite "Rings" a rhythmnic tour de force,a return to form big time

Just ordered one based on your recommendation, so it better be good!

Just joking, I'm a longtime Kottke fan and have seen him in concert three times. Also, I've been struggling to play "Ojo" on my guitar for about as long as I can remember.

I'm old enough to have bought "6- and 12-String Guitar" when it was first released. I don't think that anything that Leo Kottke's recorded since has ever quite matched that.

I had a blast of the excellent 'Standing In My Shoes' yesterday afternoon. My USA made copy is a superb recording too.
The new one sounds good - I'll check it out.

Produced By David Z as well who did "Standing" but even better sound,i know what you mean about 6/12 but i cant agree, his playing took a huge leap forward after his brush with Tendonnitis in the early eighties.
