I've just scared the **** out myself.

07:30 bowl of sugar puffs lite. Work until 14:30 go to Dentist for 15:00, to try and sort out an abscess., which has been killing me, no sleep last night.

I started uncontrollable shakes. Got well told off by the dentist for not having a proper meals regime.
I have to say this the first episode, that I have had.

I'll try not repeat it. Confused

Probably more to do with the abcess than your eating.

Your body has plenty of stored fuel to cope with periods without food. Not that your regime is a great idea but it is more likely the infection causing the shakes.

Hope you are OK.

I feel quite a lot better, still have the remnants of the flu as well to add to todays screw up. At least I've stopped shaking, and the antibiotics are starting on the abscess.

I just hope I can get some bloody sleep tonight.

Glad to know you're OK BigH. I suffer from hypoglycaemia and have to eat little and often (OK, over Christmas it was more like lots and often) else I quickly begin to feel awful and become very grumpy.

Still, I expect you're feeling affectionate - abscess makes the heart grow fonder as they say.

oh yeah I'm familiar with them, ate that stuff as a kid. I now regularly just buy granola for the heavy fiber, oats, nuts, put raisins and/or dried cranberries, then milk or yogurt. Its the only thing that holds me for hours.

I just thought puffs was funny. Not unlike discovering the slang of poofters.

And very unlikely to form part of BigH's diet!

Hope you are on the mend H.

Hi BigH47 -

How frightening! Am glad to hear this episode is now in your rear view mirror.

Still, just to be on the safe side, seems worth a mention to your GP on next visit!

Funny, they say fasting is good for the body, it kicks it into survival mode. A good source of protein can keep you going longer between meals.

Everytime i have cereal i get hungrier much quicker between meals than if i were to have nothing. These claims about cereals being good for you is nonsense in my view. Just eat a good source of protein and drink a glass of milk.
