Oh so SoCal

We've been having lots of rain the last week, called the Pineapple Express from Hawaii. Wettest Dec on record and more to come. The spring and summer are going to be incredible so if anybody wants to see this coastal mediterranean climate with 4 National Forests and some National parks and beautiful deserts 2011 is the year to do it. The whole Central Coast down to San Diego and out to Anza Borrego will be amazing. Botanic gardens and unique vegetation abound. I know what I'm going to do and that's put on as many miles on my car as possible. Starting on the 26 drive to Paso Robles on 101 to visit friends and see Hearst Castle and then Santa Barbara for more friends and my BD and New Years.
