Nice Photos.

Most of us have taken one or two nice photos.

Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.

Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.

Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:

I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

Poor bugger was crying in the shower with cold water gently dripping on him. The we had to towel him dry and apply the Flammazine. I'm glad he didn't fall into his coma on a nudist beach!

Tony

PS. It was the only time I didn't see someone with bad burns get back-slapped every 5 minutes.

The view from my balcony this morning. It has been a cold and snowy December. A white Xmas for us. Have a great holiday break everyone!

Same weather here, Winky, only a closer look.
By the way, my wife got me Michael Wolf's book of photographs of Chicago and last week I went to see his exhibit in the Museum of Contemporay Photography in town.

Have a good holiday,
Haim

Winky, Haim,

some great pics. I'm sitting here in the middle of the Australian summer but miss the snow around this time of year.

Happy Holidays ... Oliver

Oliver,

Best wished for the holidays to you too.

Let me know how much of the white stuff you need in Austarlia. I have seventeen inches sitting on the ground here with no intentions to melt anytime soon.

Regards,
Haim

Winky,

Burrard St bridge? Never seen snow like that in vancouver before. I lived on the Island (Comox) for 5 years and loved the place, but work dragged me away.

Reckon I could melt all that snow just by jumping in. Mowed the lawn this afternoon, must have been a million degrees. Sweating leg hams and gravy.

Yep, Burrard St bridge. It's crazy. There is a lot of snow around. Strange thing is that the skiing at Whistler is not that great.

As 2008 is almost over and we are just a few hours away from the 2008 into 2009 Sydney Firework Display, here are a few I took whilst out on the harbour last year.

Great pics, the firework just ended but somehow I didn't find it quite as exciting as last year. Maybe this year didn't deserve anything better. Winker

Some splendid photos here. I have been meaning to add some ever since I got my first digital SLR a year or so ago. Hopefully I will get round to this soon but, in the meantime, here are some scanned transparencies from our travels in the Greek Islands.

Top photo taken last night, bottom photo this morning. Wish you were here Winker I felt Comfortably Numb this morning when I went for a walk in the freezing cold near my house. Did not feel brave enough to venture out on The Thin Ice of the beautiful lake. Saw a few Sheep as well. Money can buy you a nice pad.
