Nice Photos.

Most of us have taken one or two nice photos.

Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.

Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.

Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:

I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

Dear Peter [northpole],

The forks actually did survive, but I have seen bent forks. My brother once rode straight into a barn wall and, apart from hurting himself, completely ruined a quite respectable bike.

Dear Peter [Swain].

Here is a nice Youtube of a pedal powered flight!

Fred on Christmas Day 1984!

It may not be obvious, but he is a proper Welsh Collie!

The foot-photos are pre- the Furguson incident!
The dog was a trend setter!

Fortunately those are the only trend setting photos I have of Fred.

I think Sarah Ferguson must have been sent a copy of the prints!

Thanks, Stuart.
I have a Nikon and two lenses. I use Photoshop for minimal corrections of color balance and sharpening.

Well done George, you got up then! Big Grin

Very well worth sitting on Frank's garage roof terrace wouldn't you say! Fantastic place to watch the sun rise.

Thanks Rega1,

Picture was taken from the 93rd floor of the John Hancock building. The observatory windows were so dirty that they ruined most of the pictures I took that day.
I live up north, very close to the Wisconsin border.

Not sure I'd much fancy cleaning windows on the 93rd floor of a building either...

(great picture)

Thanks, rodwsmith.

I don't think it makes any difference to the window cleaners if they are on the 20th or 90th floor (beside the view). It was surprising to find so much filth on the windows which are so high above traffic and anything else in the city.
