Most of us have taken one or two nice photos.
Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.
Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.
Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:
I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

I have bought myself my first ever "good camera" and I am amazed at the first photo's I've taken. No match for some of the pics here - but I love this one as it capture the feel of a lovely walk we had the other day.

Maintaining the flower theme, taken on Sunday - not quite sure whether I should have the sunflower in the foreground in focus vs. the background but like it nevertheless

At last, a chance to visit my gardening hero, the late Geoff Hamilton's garden, Barnsdale, at Exton, Rutland. Simply amazing - cos it looks like a fantastic real garden, not a contrived, manicured one! Or rather, a series of fantastic real gardens over 8 acres. Though he sadly died 13 years ago now, the place is still steeped with his presence.
This photo is of his 'Artisan's Cottage Garden' (built on strict a budget) created for his excellent series, 'Cottage Gardens'.

Sorry if I'm being very dense here ... but how can I upload some of my photos to show you all? Or do I have to host them on google or similar and just post a link?

The first two sea shots are from Sharm El-Sheikh. We were on a boat trip to dive the Dunraven wreck. The sunrise picture of the beach was taken at the Obhur Lagoon i Jeddah city here in Saudi Arabia. The last shot is of a historical building in old Dariiya which is the predecessor to Riyadh, the current capital of Saudi.

Wow Flame! What a fantastic view.
This reminds me a bit of when away on a job years ago in the Cayman Islands, I managed to get find time to get my basic PADI licence........I haven't been diving since!
Certainly brightened my day, sitting here in Leicester - cloudy and about to rain I think..... Listening to Coldplay, so it isn't that bad I guess
Stunning location IMHO.

Thanks Peter. Sharm is a wonderful town to visit and is considered diving heaven. I've just completed my Nitrox course this July and I'm planning to make annual trips to Sharm. Don't miss out on diving Peter! It would be fun to arrange a forum diving trip to Sharm

Don't let my Sally see this. Mind Sharm does look very pleasant, I could do a bit of snorkelling I suppose.

Oh yeah for sure. There is almost nothing to do during the day apart from beach activities and watersports. They even arrange "guided snorkeling tours". So do we have 4 people signed up for next summer already? :P

Lovely picture Flame. It reminded me of this.
I call it "3 seagulls". Unfortunately the title only works at 12x16 and larger...
