Nice Photos.

Most of us have taken one or two nice photos.

Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.

Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.

Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:

I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

That's a nice capture seakayaker. Having spent many days (and nights) dragging purse seines through the tidal mudflats of the Duwamish in every sort of weather, I'll admit you've made the urban depository of the mouth of the Green River appear rather beguiling .

For Mr Fjeld !!

PS, I've had to crop  and compress to get this to upload into flckr, but it was taken on Thursday 27th, in the afternoon, after the two heavy rain showers had passed through in the morning whilst we were hiking around Rundemanen and Store Tindevatnet.

Oh beautiful Bryggen! A little more to the left and your picture would be almost the same as the view from my office

I see the sun is coming out as well which you have deserved after that hiking trip.

Imagine they were going to tear Bryggen down in the fifties giving way to ugly modern buildings. A local initiative was formed and Bryggen was saved. When SAS wanted to build a large hotel at the end of and at the back of Bryggen they had to build a hotel which was in the shape of the old buildings.

I hope you enjoyed your cruise Don!

Very nice, Graemeh, with so many floating elements. What kind of light did you have there requiring such a high shutter speed at f/5.6? and 200 ISO?

As Graeme says, wow! Not just for the photo, but for the opportunity to see Twelfth Night at the Globe. We went there last year to see Hamlet, which I absolutely loved. We went as groundlings too for the authentic experience.
