Nice Photos.

Most of us have taken one or two nice photos.

Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.

Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.

Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:

I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

Is this last one the Albert Memorial?

It used to be all covered up in scaffolding for years and years, but it looks very smart now.

It looks strangely Catholic and Eastern European to my eyes now!

Hi guys. This is a shot I took a couple of ours back at dawn. This is the first time I try this kind of photography. It was shot with the camera's built in flash. I'm expecting a speedlight to arrive tomorrow and that should help me improve my lighting a bit. Anyways, I think the result is acceptable.

This is the last image of the series. I had to pull so many tricks to light that shot. I think it is my favorite.

Just a few from a gloomy, windy Duxford yesterday:

Tony M and Tony lokhart, beautiful pictures. I love the colors of the sunset. The clouds add so much drama to the scene. I admire the timing on the image of the two jets Smile

Tony,

A striking image of a plane (Hunter?) on the ground. I really like how the engine vapors are softening the left side of the scene and the two small colorful yellow and green verticals (the antenna and on the man's overalls) are balancing it.

Peter's pictures further emphasize the fact that it is the person behind the camera that takes great pictures, not the machine Smile . Lovely images Peter. Particularly loved the surfer Big Grin . My Nikon has gone to the dealer for a checkup and I am missing it already Frown

I took this at Santa Pod earlier today. I managed some success panning at 1/30th, which was nice:

Tony, don't tease me with your good images! My camera is still at the shop and they still haven't figured out what's wrong! Frown
