Nice Photos.

Most of us have taken one or two nice photos.

Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.

Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.

Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:

I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

Thanks for these Kevin. We had a painting of Scotney Castle in the living room on the farm when I was a toddler, and it always had an appeal to me with the mix of solid building and water. Seeing your two pictures of it was an absolute treat and took me straight back. Thanks again. It's quite lovely.

Yes, Orcas Island ,Turtleback Mountain is an area preserved by the county, other areas to hike are Moran State Park and Obstruction Pass State Park.

Thanks Seakyaker, I thought I recognised a familiar view but I had forgotten the name (Turtleback Mt.), I visited Orcas Island back in '99 it's a beautiful part of the world there in the San Juan Islands.
