Nice Photos.

Most of us have taken one or two nice photos.

Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.

Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.

Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:

I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

Nice view of the Mont Ventoux

Indeed. I've cycled up there a few times, by all three routes. Although I think the Malaucène route is my favourite, I've mostly gone up from Bédoin.

What I am interested in today though is Pentax Ricoh finally announcing an updated GR. I’ve been through 4 generations of these and that does get plenty of use!

Have seen mock-up of new GR at Photokina.

What a disappointment!

It’s been mainstream Pentaxed.

Shame.

Out for a stroll this morning, heard a train coming on NVR line, thought I'd stop and take a pic.

Had no idea that The Flying Scotsman had arrived for a few days!

Mainz Germany - We came upon the station where transportation to the Nazi concentration camps occurred. On the railings were memory stones, often found on Jewish graves. The train carriages beyond a chilling parallel.

FJELD,

The striking vertical image works so much better for me, putting more emphasis on the water (which is also better focused) and the vast sky. Also the title, hard to dive horizontally.. I am willing to bet that no one knows this lake better than you.

Thank you Haim! I wasn’t  sure which one I preferred myself. I deleted a dozen before i settled on these two. And then you become sort of blind or indifferent as to which one you prefer. I think agree with you though
