Nice Photos.

Most of us have taken one or two nice photos.

Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.

Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.

Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:

I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

I came accross that pic, and some others, on another forum while surfing on my iPhone. My wife thought I was giggling like a 13 year old...

I was in 1005 Beach. I didn't think it was that old. Were you maybe next door - that octagonal place?

The boys before their Kiss concert. It's well over 30 years since I first heard of Kiss. Still cool?!

Shows how a 104 year old English watch with a Swiss movement can still fill the eye with joy ...

I went to Turin for the weekend.

Stayed in a hotel inside the old Fiat factory. this ramp allowed the cars to get to the roof-top test track (as seen in 'The Italian Job')

This is the lift that takes you to the top of (what was) the tallest stone-built construction in the world. It passes through open space inside a colossal dome, and is glass-sided. If you could see them, the people inside would look scared.

Muse on stage. Fantastic show. Photograph from iphone, hence quality.

Long walk in the country on the drive home (actually in France) and I stumbled on the hameau de Grenile at the same time as a gap in the cloud opened.

First off, this isn't one of mine, but it's one of my all time favourites.

That reminds me a bit of one I took:

I shall be landing there again on the 7th January. With luck anyway. Fortunately it's not quite so scary from inside the plane.

Airshows are mind-numbingly boring in comparison. Shame!

Toyed a little bit with my camera and low light after noticed that my son had constructed his yellow and blue Duplos in interesting manner..

Somehow I just like this shot. There is plenty of that old feeling involved that is many ways missed in many modern photos. Would also make a decent book cover for a brief NS-1000 history etc Smile

Reminds me a little of this, which I have posted here before, although years ago:

I shall be returning to this airport in two weeks time, but fortunately landing there is nowhere near as scary-looking from inside the plane.
