Nice Photos.

Most of us have taken one or two nice photos.

Here is my candidate as being almost quite good. In fact it is two painstakingly joined.

Taken up in the mountain at Skurdalsvatn in 2000.

Though this one takien in Warsaw in November 2006 is not bad:

I know there are several good photgraphers here, and it would be nice to see some of you best efforts if you feel inclined to share!

Looks like we had more snow further south for a change yesterday!

This was taken above Pitsford Water in Northamptonshire.

Kind regards,

Yes, I'm very lucky to have all this on my doorstep. It allows me to chill out after a busy week (yesterday literally!) without having to drive anywhere. Smile I also tend to be out walking with my camera at, or just after first light - definately the best time of day for me................

If you are interested see p1 & 2. I posted a couple of other images there.

Kind regards,

Peter

When travelling on a plane, I always try to get a window seat. I much prefer it to the in flight entertainment. I find watching the world go by fascinating.

Nice picture Keano - I'm glad to see there was plenty of snow.

I took this one whilst flying across Greenland last July where there was rather less ice and snow cover than I'd expected! Frown

Kind regards,

Peter

thanks Peter,

Speaking to a local he thinks there will only be another two weeks of skiing left this year.

Off to India next week, so will try and take some 'interesting' pictures. Perhaps of 'monkey mountain' or 'crappers bridge'. These are named by us brits visiting, photos should explain all!! Big Grin

Whilst in Amsterdam, found myself in the middle of an anti-monarchy demonstration to 'mark' the Royal Wedding of Prince Alexander and Maxima, the daughter of an Argentinian Junta general on 2nd February 2002.

The slogan says, "Need a residency permit? -Marry a prince"

Ok, so where did the new road come from then? Big Grin

I know the Japanese have a reputation for building things quickly or is it a case of photoshop strikes again! Winker

.....Peter no amazing construction just that I took my photo from a boat down in the river that goes under that bridge on a trip down to the port area. A worthwhile sightseeing trip.
