Stu says enjoy he forwarded the link to me!

Yes, someone found the link this morning and posted it on one of the Frapp forums. Very exciting - hope there's a deluxe box as there was with ToU. Looking forward to Monday, then March, then some Silver Eye live dates...

The new Frapp single is soooooo good! Looking at the collaborators (Haxan Cloak, John Congleton, etc) the album looks to be a banger!

Alison Goldfrapp said in a press release:

We’ve never liked repeating ourselves. Often we react to things we’ve just done. We like the spontaneity of not knowing. It’s only through the process that we start to figure out what it is. The fans who have stuck with us are the ones who embrace that idea and are excited by the thought that they don’t know quite what to expect next.

Will Gregory added:

I think writing an album is like being lost in a wood. You’re trying to figure out an interesting path. You don’t know whether it’s going to be a dead end or somewhere interesting and you never know when to stop because around the corner some beautiful vista might open up.

I'm taking a bit of a punt here since this is the only track released. An HMV salesman thinks there'll be an album release in march.

I'm looking forward to this too. in the meantime the vaguely similar XX album is v good.

Good stuff. Think I'll be going for the HD download although I like the idea of the clear vinyl!
