A bit nostalgic, and perhaps will not buy...., but it was special poetry on music...

I wasn't a huge fan, but this one might be interesting...

With the Warner Box coming out they will also get out the high res versions, exciting...

Only two of them...

I am thinking of getting this (again) to see if the SQ is better than the previous issue - I have on CD when first issued by Linn and it's an HDCD which sounds very good. The vinyl is also tempting but appears to be far shorter, with missing tracks.

Can it be better so many years later?

George Harrison Vinyl collection

At $466.98 for the 14 LP set it comes out to $33-1/3 per album. Coincidence or just highly overpriced?

It's all up to what you value...

Funny, I was yesterday looking out for a new album of her, and over night my prayer was answered...

New Youn Sun Nah album on ACT in Spring!

Four years after her latest album success album “Lento”, Youn Sun Nah is back with “She Moves On”, her new album to be released on May 19th, 2017 on ACT.

Outstanding improviser with a fabulous vocal technique, the Korean singer is now among the leading figures of the contemporary vocal jazz scene. Youn Sun Nah’s universe is based on a minimalist aesthetic, a search of pureness and intimacy from where the fire of her powerful and full-bodied voice can spring out at any time.

With She Moves On, Youn Sun Nah once again delivers a colourist work, filled with charm and poetry. This time the choice repertoire is inspired by American Folk, Jazz and Singer/Songwrites – featuring a wide range of emotions, both for her own compositions and for an iconoclastic exploration of the repertoires of Jimi Hendrix, Joni Mitchell or Paul Simon.

The album has been recorded in New York, in close collaboration with producer and avant-garde pianist Jamie Saft, featuring Marc Ribot on guitar (Tom Waits, Elvis Costello) and Brad Jones (Bassist) (double bass) & Dan Rieser Fanpage (drums).

Roger Waters is gearing up to release his first solo album in 25 years. After sharing a brief audio preview last month, he’s now revealed the album’s title: Is This the Life We Really Want?. He’s also shared a new clip from the album, which you can hear below.

(Read: The 50 Most Anticipated Albums of 2017)

As previously reported, Waters recruited Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich to helm the 12-song album, which he’s described as “part magic carpet ride, part political rant, part anguish.” Most of all, though, the forthcoming LP is about love, Waters explained. “It’s pondering … the question of how do we take these moments of love – if we are granted any in our lives – and allow that love to shine on the rest of existence, on others.”
