Streaming at NPR just now, and out Friday.

A quieter and more contemplative record it seems. I found the last couple a bit samey and too AOR for my liking.

Thanks for the heads up. Hadn't seen this the 50th Anniversary Sgt. Pepper. Six silver discs including DVD selling on Amazon for $150 with no details. Apparently two CD, two LP and single disc packages will also be offered. I don't doubt it will be first-rate and well-packaged, just wonder how much material will be truly "new" and not already out there via torrent. There's only one band that could re-release a single album recorded in four-track for the price. Begs the question - what's in the works for the 50th Anniversary release of the White Album sessions? Twelve discs at $300? Time will tell.

Public Service Broadcasting: Progress out July

First single is out. I loved the space race album. Can they continue to be as interesting within their narrow 'thing' of using old vocal clips from radio etc? The single has added a vocalist it seems.
