These are just lists of to be releases surely.
No one over 8 can be looking forward to a Jewdward release.

At first glance I thought that Patti Smith album was a new John Mayall release.
Sorry Patti.
Be interested to hear what the Propaganda sounds like. The original was a bit of a paint stripper. Great album though.

Oliver,
Let me know what the Rebel Yell is like when you get it please?
Stu
Here is what Steve Hoffman had to say about it:
Mastered this album today. Great fun.
I got my mastering moves ready and compared to the current CD out there. Ouch, the current CD is really thin and bright. It actually ADDED treble to the sound and removed bass. Why, I'll never figure out. Don't know who mastered it but the analog tape sounds nothing like this CD.
Fortunately, our new version will sound very different, more true to the original intention of the producer and engineer. You'll really like it.

Oliver,
Thanks for that.
I have never thought they were thin sounding.
And the vinyl has always been good.
When do you get your hands on one?
Stu

There is also the following
Justin Townes Earle- Harlem River Blues
2 Boz Scaggs discs Moments and Other Roads are getting the deluxe treatment from Ryko supposedly.
Brandon Flowers of the Killers has an album coming out called Flamingo.
Linkin Park's new album is called Baffled and Beat
Underworld's next album is called Barking.
Kanye West next disc is Good Ass Job.
Paula Cole new album is called Ithaca
Maroon 5's next Hands All Over
Ne-Yo has a new album coming out title of which has yet to be decided.
Santana's next disc is called Performs the Greatest Guitar Classics of All Time feat Joe Cocker, Rob Thomas etc.
Doobie Brothers next disc is titled World Gone Crazy
The following also have discs coming out
Yaz (remember her?)
Pete Yorn
Weezer's Pinkerton is getting the deluxe treatment
There is a little buzz supposedly going around about the up coming album from The Secret Sisters called Silver Threads and Golden Needles. Which is produced by T Bone Burnett on his own label but haven't heard anything from it myself. T Bone says that it is the purest thing he has heard in 40 years but that could mean anything.

Meant to say that the Delaney and Bonnie is a Rhino Handmade disc and is a limited edition. Pre release orders are being taken now. It is a 52 track set which has all the UK tour gigs with Clapton on it. Personally I love the On Tour album and may buy this but it is $79 and I will need to check out Rhino's UK site to see if they are putting it out over here. A lot of the tracks are duplicated.

Talking of Rhino Handmade, I'm looking forward to the double CD version of J. Geils Band Full House - one of the best live albums ever...

Underworld 'Barking'
Various editions available from underworldlive.com
Frankly the single/promo track 'Scribble' is dreadful, europop at its most bland, and worse wrecking the absolutely fantastic 'You Do Scribble' which they have played live for a number of years.
The 'Special Limited Edition Box Set' does have a version of the fantastic 'Strumpet' and with artwork by Tomato/John Warwcker it will be well worth it for me.
Not sure where Underworld are going at the moment, their first four albums (well as Underworld mk2, Hyde, Price, and Emmerson, except the last of those four) were fantastic, as were the Riverrun releases, but 'Oblivion With Bells' was patchy, and handfull of great tracks and some real dross (no Streets copies on the new album please).
The new tracks on MySpace are not very inspiring, but still I will give this a try.

Having just read Mojo's glowing review of Richard Thompson's new release "Dream Attic", August can't come quick enough for me. Particularly looking forward to the track "Here Comes Geordie". A "love song" to Sting (not).
I love the energy of his live recordings and the decision to record this album in front of a live audience whilst on tour appears to be a masterstroke. Let's hope the album lives up to the review.

I'm a big Joe Bonamassa fan, and this "supergroup" side project, Black Country Communion comes out in September I believe.
Joe, Glenn Hughes, Jason Bonham, and Derek Sherinian make up the band, and looking at the line-up I wouldn't expect anything too soft.
